On Sept. 23, 2021, an international doctor from the Institute of Communication, Allawi Ssemanda, had an article published on a mainstream newspaper in Ugandan called “New vision”. The press heaped great praise on President Xi’s six-point Global Development Initiative in the General Debate of the 76th United Nations General Assembly.
In the press, Ssemanda illustrates some of President Xi’s points of view, which advocate prioritizing development, building equal and balanced partnership for it, strengthening policy coordination among major economies and promoting the multilateral development of cooperation process. Ssemanda emphasized that the proposal “To uphold and safeguard the principle of people-oriented” can help to achieve 2030 Agenda, which assure sustainable development goals and improve people's well-being so as to protect and promote human rights.
Ssemanda suggests that the practice for the advocate of President Xi can contribute a lot to the global income equality and the shared prosperity. It enables the world to embrace a greater sense of happiness, gain, security and achieve all-round development.
llawi Ssemanda is an international student from Ugandan and holds the position of journalist in several Ugandan news office. At the same time, he serves as director in Development Watch Centre of Ugandan think-tank.
