On Oct. 16, the final of the 7th China International College Students' 'Internet+' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition concluded at Nanchang University. In this competition, 2185 participants from CUC, attending in 316 projects, win 5 national awards (2 silver and 3 bronze) and 55 municipal awards (3 gold, 12 silver and 40 bronze). The scale of CUC’s participation and the number of awards reach a record high. In addition, there are 10 teachers of CUC who win the Excellent Instructor Award of Beijing Division.

The China International College Students' 'Internet+' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is the most widely participated and the most influential innovation and entrepreneurship competition among universities in China. Pursuing the goal of "more international, more educational, more comprehensive, more innovative and more Chinese", the competition attracted more than 2.28 million projects and 9.56 million entries from 4,347 universities and colleges from 121 countries and regions at home and abroad. Co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the 7th competition has received a total of 9,701 project applications in Beijing Division, with more than 52,000 participants. Under the fierce competition, projects from CUC won a total of 60 awards in national and municipal competitions.Among them, the project "Yutongyin": A Language Service Platform won the silver prize in a special track. The project "Shiyi": Image Restoration and An Interactive Community and Chinese "Zhiyin": Build the World's Most Professional Chinese Learning APP won the national bronze prize in the undergraduate group of the main track. "Xiaoshouhu" APP: Children's Intangible Heritage Learning Platform won the silver prize in the national final in the undergraduate group of the international track, and "Jinjing": Immersive Interactive Experience of the Old and Application of Leisure Scenes won the bronze prize in the undergraduate group of the international track.

CUC has always been integrating innovation and entrepreneurship education into teaching. Under the deployment of the University Council, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Center of CUC carefully organized the preliminary and semi-finals in the school, and selected the final projects with high standards. To support the participants, the center also actively invited experts for guidance, hosted innovation and entrepreneurship training camps, retrospective meetings, special lectures, one-to-one counseling and other activities. All schools and project instructors gave targeted guidance to the projects based on their disciplines and majors, so as to comprehensively improve the quality. It is the joint efforts of the school, teachers and project team members that made CUC achieve a new record in this competition.The future of a country lies in innovation, and the hope of innovation lies in the youth.
