Huang Hairong, a student of Communication University of China (CUC) performed well among students from more than 50 universities in Beijing and got the first prize in 2021 English Speech Contest For Beijing College Students, which was held on October 10 in University of International Business and Economics (UIBE).

With the support of Office of Academic Affairs of school and School of International Studies (SIS) of CUC, a campus competition before the official contest, which aims at selecting excellent players, has been held in September.Domestic well-known experts in speech and outstanding teachers were invited as the competition judges. During this time, Ding Shuorui, a teacher from the SIS has given students guidance and help.

The final of 2021 English Speech Contest For Beijing College Students consists of two parts- the prepared speech and the impromptu speech. Both parts are composed of the contestants' speech session and the judges' question session. In order to echo the theme of this competition “Reinventing the Future”, the final topic is “To Reinvent the Future is…”. Around this topic, Huang Hairong from CUC expressed her unique insights of reinventing the future and won the First Prize.
