An online meeting was held between Communication University of China (CUC) and Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL) on 1 March . At the meeting, the two universities reviewed their outstanding achievements in the past and opened up a bright prospect in the future.

CUC and RHUL have in cooperation with each other in a wide range of areas and made remarkable progress. According to Duan Peng, vice president of CUC, cooperation efforts based on the 2012 Agreement have triggered favorable results, such as the double master projects of International Media Management, Digital Documentary and Immersive Narrative, etc. The projects are also regarded as one of the most important fruits of international cooperation by RHUL, who has always been committing to such cooperation with well-known Chinese universities.
Duan delivered that, by combining the professional advantages, CUC and RHUL can deepen collaboration, construct innovative modes and strengthen the joint training of talents in the fields of artificial intelligence, computer science, electronic engineering, and other inter-disciplines. The two universities should work together to actively expand areas of cooperation and figure out a feasible plan for cooperative education in future images and computing ommunication, he suggested.
While Duan expressed his confidence in a promising future with converted efforts from both sides, Ken Badcock, vice president of RHUL, hoped to strengthen cooperation with CUC in the areas of joint scientific research and communication between teachers and studentsas well.
John Ellis, professor of the Department of Media Arts at RHUL, also anticipated the cooperation between the two universities for a wider cooperative space in various fields ,such as Theater, Film and Television, Games, Future Media, etc.
Besides school leaders in charge of arts and international exchanges, renowned teachers within domain from both sides also attended the meeting.

RHUL was officially founded in 1886 and incorporated into the University of London in 1900. It ranks top in Management, Economics, Media Arts, Computer Science, Information Security, etc in the UK. With continuous cooperation between CUC and RHUL being conducted since 2012, four teachers of CUC were sent for further study in RHUL, and John Ellis is currently the international contributing editor of CUC-owned English journal Global Media and China.
