Zheng Suhui, vice president of Faculty of Economics and Management of CUC, met with the delegation from University for the Creative Arts on Wednesday. Among the guests were Catherine Boxer, vice president of the UCA's Business School for the Creative Industries, project manager Dominique Kirsten Stone and Ji Cheng, regional manager of China .

During the talks, both sides exchanged views on topics regarding the joint cultivation of bachelors and masters of business management, the summer exchange programs and other projects. President Zheng Suhui made a brief introduction on the schools, disciplines and curricula of Faculty of Economics and Management of CUC. Zheng said that the CUC’s Business School upholds the school’s concept of "rooting in the media, relying on the community and opening up to the world", features its emphasis on cultural media and focuses on cultivating high-end personnel equipped with both management and communication skills. She proposed that starting from the summer exchange programs, both sides should deepen the understanding of each other through cooperation, and gradually carry out joint research projects.

Catherine Boxer noted that UCA attaches great importance to the combination of teaching and practice, and establishes good cooperative relations with enterprises. The Arts, as the school's key disciplines, train large numbers of arts professionals each year. She hopes the UCA’s Business School would be able to work with the CUC’s Faculty of Economics and Management to create more opportunities for student exchange.

The UCA is the UK's best university in art and design and ranks 21st among all UK universities. Its clothing, architecture, animation, textiles and photography own high reputations in the industry.
