Over the past few days, Association of BRICS Film Schools’first meeting was held in the Russian State University of Cinematography n.a.S.A.Gerasimov(VGIK). Representatives of Communication University of China participate in the event, contributing to discussions on future collaboration among BRICS member institutions in film and television education.

Nearly1,000 undergraduate graduation projects from 10 majors of CUC made a stunning debut, showcasing a rich spectrum of work across the arts, humanities, and science engineering. The exhibition features a wide range of creative formats, including photography, painting, design, drama, comics, games, filmmaking, musical performance, virtual reality, and interactive installations.

Over the past few days, the interactive game Mycora: The Earths Call of Mushrooms，created by Lu Yuanyuan, a postgraduate student majoring in Digital Art under the guidance of Associate Professor Cao Kaizhong from the School of Theatre, Film and Television at the Communication University of China, stood out in the MUSE Design Awards and won the Silver Prize in the category of "Conceptual Design – Gaming, AR & VR".

Recently, a studentteam from Communication University of China (CUC) achieved second place in the AI-Generated Video Quality Assessment Challenge at the 2025 NTIRE Workshop of the International Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), a top-tier conference in the field of computer vision.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and India, on March 26, the China-India Youth Roundtable, hosted by the All-China Youth Federation and organized by the Communication University of China and the China International Youth Exchange Center, took place at CUC.
