From Jan 19–22, CUC students conducted a study tour in Keyouqian Banner, Inner Mongolia. Recently, the Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education announced the results of the 2025 Thematic Case Collection Program. Two professional degree graduate teaching cases submitted by the Communication University of China (CUC) were successfully selected, focusing on the national strategic themes of cultural innovation and going global.

The 15th China Academy Awards of Documentary Film concluded at CUC on January 4. Over 1,270 works competed, with Shenzhou 13 winning the Jury Grand Prize. Special awards honored the Shenzhou 13 astronauts for their space filming. The ceremony underscored CUC’s leadership in documentary education and its commitment to cultural heritage and innovation.

Night-shining White, an AI-interactive digital artwork by Professor Wang Lei’s team from CUC, debuted at the 10th Beijing International Art Biennale. The piece combines CG animation and real-time AI, reinterpreting a Tang Dynasty painting. It attracted thousands of visitors and media coverage, showcasing CUC’s leadership in digital cultural innovation.
