  • The 15th China Academy Awards of Documentary Film Concluded at CUC
    The 15th China Academy Awards of Documentary Film concluded at CUC on January 4. Over 1,270 works competed, with Shenzhou 13 winning the Jury Grand Prize. Special awards honored the Shenzhou 13 astronauts for their space filming. The ceremony underscored CUC’s leadership in documentary education and its commitment to cultural heritage and innovation.
  • CUC Students Embark on Study Tourat China-Mongolia Arxan Border
    CUC students joined a patriotic border education program in Arxan, Inner Mongolia. They patrolled snow-covered frontiers, performed ethnic dances and opera on tourist trains, and promoted local tourism through media projects. The team was appointed Cultural Tourism Promotion Ambassadors, supporting rural revitalization with their digital and creative expertise.
  • CUC Secures Two National Teaching Cases in Cultural Innovation and Global Communication
    CUC’s two professional degree teaching cases were selected for the Ministry of Education’s 2025 Thematic Case Collection under “cultural innovation” and “going global.” One focuses on digitalization of cultural heritage, the other on a digital platform promoting China’s time-honored brands overseas. This marks CUC’s fourth consecutive year of selection.
  • CUC Collaborates with Yunnan Cultural Tourism to Explore Innovative Approaches to China Chic Integration
    CUC and the Yunnan Tourism Association held a symposium on deepening culture-tourism integration and China Chic innovation. Both sides discussed IP incubation, digital empowerment, and national trend transformation. The delegation visited CUC’s Animation School and National Trend Institute. The partnership aims to transform Yunnan’s ethnic and intangible cultural heritage into youth-oriented cultural products.

    The Bilingual Broadcasting and Anchoring Forum was held on December 6 at CUC. Experts from academia and media explored curriculum innovation and talent cultivation for global communication. The event highlighted the evolving demands for bilingual professionals and established dialogue mechanisms to align academic training with industry needs.
  • CUC Co-hosts the 2nd China-Vietnam Higher Education Dialogue on Journalism and Communication
    The 2nd China-Vietnam Higher Education Dialogue on Journalism and Communication was held Dec. 4–5 in Hue, Vietnam. Co-hosted by CUC and VNU Hanoi-USSH, the event brought together 27 universities from both countries to discuss talent cultivation, AI-driven media transformation, and cross-border cooperation in journalism education.
  • CUC Student Wins Acclaim at Model WHO Assembly in Geneva
    CUC undergraduate Lu Yibo impressed the audience at the 2025 Global Model WHO Assembly in Geneva with a standout closing speech. Representing Sudan, he integrated insights from an interview with Dr. Jane Goodall to argue for cross-border public health cooperation. His success highlights the effectiveness of CUC's bilingual announcing program in cultivating globally competent talents.
  • Exploring the World Through Drama at SIS's 18th English Text-Based Drama Competition
    The 18th “SIS Cup” English Textbook Drama Contest was held on December 10. Six freshman teams from SIS adapted English textbook stories into stage performances. Who Shall Dwell won First Prize, delivering a powerful anti-war message. The event enhanced students’ bilingual communication skills and cross-cultural storytelling abilities.
