  • CILECT 2025 Annual Conference Concludes, CUC Delivers Asia-Pacific Work Report
    Recently, the 2025 CILECT Congress concluded in Mexico. Communication University of China, as the chair institution of the CILECT Asia-Pacific Association, participated in the congress and delivered a report on its work in the Asia-Pacific region. This years congress, themed Power of Conscience in Twenty-First Century Cinema: The Mission and Power of Film and Television Education in the 21st Century, featured 4 keynote speeches, 8 parallel forums, and 8 special discussions.
  • Delegation from the University for the Creative Arts, UK, Visits Communication University of China
    On December 1, a delegation from the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), UK, led by Vice-Chancellor Melanie Gray, visited Communication University of China (CUC). Both sides discussed deepening cooperation in design, film, animation, and game development, exploring joint programs in student exchanges, curriculum development, and faculty training. The visit aims to promote shared educational resources and collaborative growth in arts and creative education.

    Communication University of China co-hosted the World Women University Presidents Forum Europe Forum in Manchester. Centered on "Future Education & Women's Leadership," it gathered over 100 presidents and scholars. Discussions highlighted the need to balance humans and technology in education and strengthen women's leadership. The forum concluded with the Manchester Declaration, advocating for universities' stabilizing role amidst AI and geopolitical changes.
  • International Think Tanks Reach Consensus on Cultural Diversity as Key for Community of a Shared Future for Mankind
    International think tank representatives from 18 countries convened at Communication University of China. They reached a consensus that safeguarding cultural diversity is indispensable for building a global community with a shared future. The forum addressed key challenges such as cultural homogenization and digital inequality, calling for enhanced global dialogue, multilateral cooperation, and efforts to amplify the cultural voices of the Global South in the digital age.

Their precise, adaptive delivery enhanced the event's international presentation and earned high praise, showcasing China's organizational strength and the students' global-ready competencies.

    CUC presented at the 4th Shanghai International Musical Theatre Festival. Faculty delivered keynote speeches on curriculum development and teaching workshops, showcasing CUC's innovative "classroom-to-stage" educational model. The event also featured performances of original student productions, highlighting the program's success in integrating industry practice with academic training.
