    The 2nd China-Vietnam Higher Education Dialogue on Journalism and Communication was held Dec. 4–5 in Hue, Vietnam. Co-hosted by CUC and VNU Hanoi-USSH, the event brought together 27 universities from both countries to discuss talent cultivation, AI-driven media transformation, and cross-border cooperation in journalism education.

    CUC undergraduate Lu Yibo impressed the audience at the 2025 Global Model WHO Assembly in Geneva with a standout closing speech. Representing Sudan, he integrated insights from an interview with Dr. Jane Goodall to argue for cross-border public health cooperation. His success highlights the effectiveness of CUC's bilingual announcing program in cultivating globally competent talents.
  • Exploring the World Through Drama at SIS's 18th English Text-Based Drama Competition
    The 18th “SIS Cup” English Textbook Drama Contest was held on December 10. Six freshman teams from SIS adapted English textbook stories into stage performances. Who Shall Dwell won First Prize, delivering a powerful anti-war message. The event enhanced students’ bilingual communication skills and cross-cultural storytelling abilities.

    The 2025 China Beijing Animation Festival, themed "Animation Plus: Together We Shine Brighter," showcased how traditional culture empowers modern animation. Through exhibitions, forums, and screenings, it highlighted the evolution from classic ink-wash techniques to cutting-edge AI creation, emphasizing that innovation rooted in Eastern aesthetics is key to the industry's distinctive identity and sustainable future.
  • Malaysian Education Delegation Visits CUC
    A Malaysian education delegation visited the School of International Studies at Communication University of China on December 29, 2025. The exchange focused on language education and regional cooperation. Malay program freshmen performed the folk song "Rasa Sayang" and conversed fluently in Malay. Both sides committed to deepening mutual understanding through sustained educational dialogues.

    CUC's School of International Studies successfully concluded its 3rd International Culture Festival on Oct 26, 2025. With 22 booths representing 19 languages, the event offered immersive cultural experiences, performances, and interactive activities. The innovative "Culture Passport" embodied the theme of "Appreciating All Beauty, Beauty in Diversity," fostering cross-cultural understanding and showcasing SIS's mission to connect China and the world.
