The 2026 New Year Concert of Communication University of China was successfully held in the CUC Auditorium. On January 6, Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between Communication University of China (CUC) and University College Cork (UCC) in Beijing. The agreement advances their collaboration in digital economy programs under a Sino-foreign joint education model, marking a new milestone in bilateral educational cooperation and implementing the consensus reached by the two countries' leaders.

Huang Yuechen, a CUC freshman, won second prize at the 16th Beijing College Students' English Speech Contest. Coached by SIS professors, she advanced from semi-finals to the final, delivering speeches on global issues with local perspectives. The contest provided a platform to enhance students' international communication skills, reflecting SIS's commitment to practical English education.

Recently, the 2025 CILECT Congress concluded in Mexico. Communication University of China, as the chair institution of the CILECT Asia-Pacific Association, participated in the congress and delivered a report on its work in the Asia-Pacific region. This years congress, themed Power of Conscience in Twenty-First Century Cinema: The Mission and Power of Film and Television Education in the 21st Century, featured 4 keynote speeches, 8 parallel forums, and 8 special discussions.

On December 1, a delegation from the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), UK, led by Vice-Chancellor Melanie Gray, visited Communication University of China (CUC).
