Recently, Kidhood Flows, a short film created by Luo Xianyao, Li Bohan, Xue Kai, and Chen Yipei, students of the 2020 class majoring in Digital Media Art (Internet and Intelligent Media Design Pathway), Department of Future Media, School of Animation and Digital Arts, Communication University of China, under the guidance of teachers Zhou Yinan and Shen Wei, was selected for the 44th VGIK International Student Film Festival - International Competition.

On the afternoon of November 5, 2024, the China-Brazil Dialogue on Confucianism was held at the School of International Studies, Communication University of China. This seminar was jointly launched by the School of International Studies and the Center for BRICS Studies of the Communication University of China and co-organized by the research team of the Confucius, Mencius, Xunzi: Lecture Notes on Confucianism in the Pre-Qin Period, a Chinese Academic Translation Project.

On the afternoon of November 15, Wang Zhiqiang, Deputy Director of the Education and Scientific Film TV Channel of Zhejiang TV and Announcing Supervisor, delivered a lecture on “Cultivating Influencer Accounts Scene-Specific Hosting Techniques” at Conference Hall 266, the School of International Studies, Communication University of China. This lecture was hosted by Liu Ying, Deputy Dean of the School.

From October 20 to 23, the 2024 International Light Symposium (LS 2024), a heavyweight conference in the field of global light environment design and research, was successfully held in Norway. Jiang Yichen, a lecturer from our school’s Light Environment Design Department, and Hao Mengyuan, a postgraduate student in his/her first year of studying Drama and Film Television (2024 intake), were invited to attend.
