Deepening China–Vietnam Media Cooperation

In his speech, Wang Hui said China and Vietnam "share geographical proximity, cultural affinity, and a common destiny." Marking the 75th anniversary of China–Vietnam diplomatic ties and the China–Vietnam Year of People-to-People Exchange, he noted that the delegation's visit added significance to this year's commemorative activities.

Wang emphasized the irreplaceable role of the media as a "bridge of information," a "bond of cultural exchange," and a "window of public communication." He highlighted CUC's expanding partnerships with Vietnamese universities and media institutions, expressing hope for broader cooperation in content co-creation, joint talent cultivation, and technology sharing.

Nguyen Duc Loi praised CUC as "China's leading institution in media education" and acknowledged the fruitful cooperation previously carried out between CUC and Vietnamese universities, such as the University of Social Sciences and Humanities under Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

As Vietnam's media landscape undergoes rapid digital transformation, he said, the country urgently needs professionals equipped with modern media skills. He expressed hope for expanding collaboration with CUC in journalism education, training programs, and media innovation.
