She encourage graduates to nurture their hearts with professionalism, treat other with kindness, stay true to their original aspirations,and strive to be lights for those around them.


Xu Tao, an alumnus who graduated in 1987 majoring in Television Editing and currently serving as Deputy Party Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Beijing Radio and Television Station, spoke as an alumnus representative. Sheinspired the gradutes by sharing stories of three academicians, Zhang Miman, Ye Peijian, and Guo Yonghuai- encouraging them to choose a path with no shortcuts, one less traveled by others,and a path of shouldering heavy responsibilities, so they can stand out and created a boundless future.


Amid warm applause, Zhang Shuting delivered a speech titled "Be a Persistent Doer and Embark on a New Journey in Life". On behalf of the university and Secretary Liao Xiangzhong, he extended his best wishes to all graduates and  expressed gratitude to the hard-working faculty and staff, parents, alumni, and all who cares and  support the university's development. He encouraged the students to hold firm to  their beliefs and move forward bravely. With perseverance and dedication, they can turn small steps into great journeys.


Zhang Shuting fondly recalled the graduates' time at the university. He emphasized that General Secretary Xi Jinping's important reply to all teachers and students on the occasion of the university's 70th anniversary is not only a source of encouragement and expectation, but also a symbol of trust and responsibility. It stands as a shared honor and pride for every CUCer and serves as a strong spiritual motivation as students embark on the next chapter of their lives.



Facing the surging waves of the era, the confusion in growth, and crossroads of choices, Zhang encouraged the students to start from the near and be persistent doers. He also shared four insights:

1. Direction is the foundation- one must set the right course in life and align personal ideals with the broader mission of national strength and rejuvenation.

2. Confidence comes from understanding the times- Grasp the pulse of the era, trust in human wisdom, embrace artificial integlligence, explore paths of human-machine coexistence, and work together toward a brighter futrue.

3. Wisdom lies in growth- Understand the essence of personal development, balance contentment and ambition, and navigate the rhythm between speed and patience.

4. Choices are crucial- Make thoughtful decisions, stay rational, be courageous in exploring new paths, shoulder responsibilities, and learn to enjoy the journey.



Zhang reminded the students to maintain the ability of lifelong learning, cherish all encounters with a grateful heart, and believe that every sincere act of giving love is weaving a better world.


He encouraged them to pursue their dreams with steady steps and shape a brighter future through concrete actions-- contributing to the grand journey of building a strong nation and advancing national rejuvenation through Chinese-style modernization.


During the graduation ceremony, there were interludes such as theatrical performances and short-film screenings, creating a strong ceremonial atmosphere.


Students from various majors, together with graduate representatives presented, openedd the ceremony with a song and dance performance titles "Time Flies", an original composition  by students from the School of Music and Recording Arts of the university.


The short-film "Light Up the Heart Lamp and Set Off Again" highlighted alumni who have made remarkable contributions acrossvarious industries. At the end of the ceremony, performers from various majors and graduate representatives presented a medley of songs, followed by a heartfelt rendition of the univerisity anthem, "There is a Row of Young Poplars on the Campus" together.

From planning and design to directing, filming, live-streaming  promotion, all aspects was carried out by faculty and students, showcasing the university's strong capacities in media convergence. Faculty from the School of Drama and Film led photography students in capturing unforgettable moments as each graduate received their degree.
