Introduction of the lecturer:
Wang Hongwei, Graduate School Professor and Asian Pacific Institute researcher of Chinese Academy of Social Science, now is Counselor of Chinese Association for South Asian Studies. He has visited Nepal, India, Pakistan and some other countries many times. After his attendance of the unprecedented Seminar on China-Nepal Relations held by Nepal, he was received by King Birendra, Premier Prachanda and the major leaders of political parties. His major works: Nepal, the Kingdom of High Mountain(1980), Ethnography of Nepal(1989), etc.
