Lecturer: Elizabeth Cobbs, a historian, novelist, and documentary filmmaker, is also a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. She specializes in US foreign relations and also writes more broadly on world and American history for the general public. She wrote articles for the The New York Times, The Jerusalem Post, Los Angeles Times, and is also credited as screenwriter on the film adaptation of her book American Umpire.
The Hello Girls: America’s First Women Soldiers is the story of how America’s first women soldiers helped win World War I, earned the vote, and fought the U.S. Army.
