Yin Lujun, a member of the Secretariat of the All-China Journalists Association; Luo Yi, Chairman of the China Association of Press Technicians (CAPT); and Chai Jianping, Vice President of CUC, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.
In the opening speech, Yin Lujun described the conference as a vital action for the media industry to build consensus and move toward the future in the digital-intelligent era. To ensure the healthy development of the AIGC and digital-intelligent communication industry, efforts must be made to uphold values and ethics, deepen the integration of technology with practical scenarios, strengthen the dual pillars of development and security, and jointly build an open and inclusive ecosystem, he emphasized.

Luo Yi said that digital-intelligent communication technologies, represented by AIGC, have become the "new quality productive forces" driving systemic transformation in the media. For the journalism and communication industry to truly master this digital shift, he outlined three imperatives: first, leading with values while navigating technology; second, promoting systemic restructuring to stimulate the internal drive for deep integration; and third, cultivating a talent pool of interdisciplinary professionals who bridge technology and theory.

With the support of the CAPT, the university's Mainstream Converged Media Research Center has established a Special Committee on AIGC and Digital-Intelligent Communication— a move, he said, that reflected the institution's commitment to serving the industry and contributing to society.
