The 2023 Class of Bilingual Announcing and Anchoring (Chinese-English) program was awarded the China Media Group Award for Outstanding Class Collective and the Spiritual Outlook Award after successfully completing its defense on November 19. Comprising 22 students, the class has demonstrated well-rounded development in moral character, academic achievement, physical fitness, aesthetic cultivation, and practical engagement, during the 2024–2025 academic year selection of class honors at the Communication University of China.

Guided by Head Teacher Tang Aihua, Program Director Tang Huirun, and Counselor Chen Lina, the class has rallied around a shared mission—to tell China's stories well and to become broadcasters admired by audiences both at home and abroad. Anchored in the class motto "Love Never Fails," the students have built an efficient and cohesive organizational structure that supports collaboration, initiative, and collective growth.

Academically, the cohort has shone in national and international competitions, securing awards in bilingual speech, debate and AI-integrated innovation contests, demonstrating robust language proficiency and professional acumen. Notably, four students claimed multiple honors at the Global Youth Bilingual Broadcasting and Announcing Contest, while one representative earned acclaim with a standalone speech at the 2025 Geneva International Model United Nations.

The program's practice-oriented focus is evident in real-world engagement: 100% of students completed internships at top media outlets including CMG and CGTN by their sophomore year. Internationally, four served as English announcers for the 2025 Chengdu World Games, winning widespread praise and future invitations to international sports events, while the class actively participates in global public service and cultural exchange initiatives. The class emphasizes steady and sustained engagement in sports and fitness. Students actively participate in a wide range of athletic activities, demonstrating youthful energy and a healthy, positive spirit. Among them are members of the university's martial arts performance team, cheerleading squad, and volleyball team, who showcase strength, skill, and perseverance both on the field and on the track.

Beyond academics and practice, students embrace sports and arts—from university sports teams to traditional cultural performances like Sichuan Opera face-changing—fostering teamwork and cross-cultural communication skills.

From global competitions to international volunteer services and top-tier media internships, the class's journey exemplifies how the university's internationalized teaching practice system nurtures talents who are not only academically competent but also ready to engage and contribute on the global stage.

They continue to advance toward the goal of becoming high-end international communication professionals with multilingual, interdisciplinary, and versatile competencies, contributing their strengths to enhancing China's international communication capacity.
