Global Internet Talents Campus Dialogue was held at Communication University of China

On the morning of July 1, the Global Internet Talents Campus Dialogue was held at Communication University of China. On the morning of July 1, the Global Internet Talents Campus Dialogue was held at Communication University of China. Internet talents from 28 countries including Russia, Brazil, Malaysia, Thailand, Kenya, Mexico and other countries held dialogues and exchanges with students of Communication University of China on topics such as culture, technology, tourism and food.

Before the dialogue, Zhang Shuting, deputy secretary of the CPC Committee and president of Communication University of China, and Wang Hui, member of the CPC Committee and vice president, met with Ambassador Chen Yuming and Director Yu Lei who attended the dialogue. The campus dialogue was jointly organized by the Communication University of China's Chinese and Foreign Journalists Exchange Research Center and the School of Foreign Languages and Cultures.

Wang Hui said in his speech that the arrival of global Internet celebrities has brought vitality to Communication University of China, and the university is willing to build a platform for face-to-face communication and dialogue between global Internet celebrities and domestic Generation Z youth. In the era of globalization and intelligence, international social media is an important platform for the exchange and integration of different cultures. Internet celebrities are the best at telling vivid stories on the Internet and social media. It is hoped that Internet celebrities from all over the world will share what they have seen and heard in China from a diverse cultural perspective, tell the Chinese story to the world, and promote mutual understanding and friendship among people of all countries.

The dialogue will be organized around three thematic units: 'Traveling around China - Dialogue with Travel Experts', 'Mutual Learning among Civilizations - Dialogue with Cultural and Technological Bloggers' and 'The World of Food - Dialogue with Food Experts'.


Internet influencers shared their unique experiences and creative insights during their travels and expressed their beautiful expectations for traveling around China; in the 'Mutual Learning among Civilizations - Dialogue with Cultural and Technological Bloggers' session, they focused on the fields of culture and technology, and from the perspective of content creation, explained the positive role of technological innovation in cultural inheritance and development; in the 'World of Food - Dialogue with Food Experts' session, they explored the diversity and regional characteristics of global food, and talked about their love and pursuit of food culture.


In the interactive question-and-answer session, teachers and students from the School of Foreign Languages and Cultures and students from the Baiyang Class of International Communication exchanged views with online influencers on three topics . The students showed great interest in how to continuously produce high-quality content, how to deal with the challenges encountered in the creative process, how to accurately formulate operational strategies for different social media platforms, and how to balance life and creation. The atmosphere at the dialogue was warm and harmonious, presenting an atmosphere of cultural exchange that brought together diverse cultures from around the world and spanned multiple fields.

Hou Jun, Party Secretary of the National Key Laboratory of Media Convergence and Communication of Communication University of China, Zhong Dandan , Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office , and Liu Ying, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Languages and Cultures, attended the campus dialogue.

June 30 to July 5, Internet experts conducted a week-long study, exchange and visit in Beijing.
