Recently, Chen Qinghe, president of Shih Hsin University in Taiwan, Li Gongqin, vice president, and a delegation from the Shih Hsin University Alumni Association visited Communication University of China. Zhang Shuting, president of Communication University of China, met with the delegation at the Academic Center, and the two sides held talks on deepening cross-strait exchanges and cooperation in higher education in the media field.


Zhang Shuting welcomed the Shih Hsin University delegation, reviewed the exchanges between the two universities over the past year, and introduced the latest progress of the "Artificial Intelligence Action Plan" launched by the university this year. He hoped that the two universities would not only continue to strengthen cooperation in teacher-student exchanges and academic exchanges, but also exchange experiences and share successful cases in the curriculum reform under the background of new media technology and media integration. Zhang Shuting sincerely invited Chen Qinghe to participate in the 70th anniversary celebration of Communication University of China.


Chen Qinghe congratulated the school on its 70th anniversary. He said that Shih Hsin University also attaches great importance to the development of media education in the era of artificial intelligence. With the goal of "digital communication throughout all disciplines and data intelligence combined with all majors", it is optimizing and upgrading its major settings, adding artificial intelligence-related courses, and strengthening the cultivation of new thinking and new logic under the artificial intelligence environment, providing students with a more comprehensive and cutting-edge educational experience. He hopes that the two schools will continue to work together to contribute to the development of media higher education on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and the exchange and mutual learning between compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait .



During the visit, the Shih Hsin University delegation visited the school campus and the Media Museum. Zhou Chengyin, director of the Shewo Memorial Hall of Shih Hsin University, Shen Zongnan, president of Shanghai College, Li Lanqi, director of the Shewo Memorial Hall , and 20 representatives of the Alumni Association accompanied the delegation.
