CUC Graduate Wins Best Actress at 38th Hong Kong Film Awards

Zeng Meihuizi, an alumnus of Communication University of China (CUC), won the Best Actress at the 38th Hong Kong Film Awards Sunday at Hong Kong Cultural Centre.

Zeng, enrolled in 2003 and majored in Professional Performance, graduated from School of Drama, TV and Cinematic Arts in CUC. One year after her enrollment at CUC, Zeng kicked off her film career. 

The newly Best Actress emerged in the 38th HKFA Presentation Ceremony for her starring in the work Three Husbands.

She was nominated for Best Leading Actress at the 55th Golden Horse Awards in 2018 and Best Actress at the 12th Asian Film Awards in 2019. And this year, Zeng won Best Actress Award of the Association of Art Critics Hong Kong and Hong Kong Film Directors’ Guild.
