Vision Youth Awards has recommended more than 200 works from Chinese youth to the main section of the festival. Tableland, a film that won the “Work of the Year” award in 2017, was also awarded for Best Feature Film at the awarding ceremony, which shows an international recognition for Chinese youth. Senior student majoring in International Journalism, Xing Tianyu, as the representative of issuers, expressed his appreciation for the committee and articulating that Vision Youth Awards help Chinese youth step onto a worldwide stage.

Because of this exciting collaboration, committee of the festival signed a long-term agreement with Faculty of Communication and Journalism at CUC, in order to continue cultural exchanges through the collection and exhibition of films. This was a meaningful and valuable event since the establishment of youth creator and international communication platform, which takes our domestic youth-made films a step further into the international motion picture spotlight.
