Vice President Jiang Xufan Meets With Chairman of the Confucius Institute Council from Oklahoma University

Last Saturday, vice president Jiang Xufan met with the delegation led by Dr. Paul Bell, chairman of Confucius Institute Council from Oklahoma University. They discussed about the cooperation and communication between both sides. 

Vice president Jiang Xufan said, Communication University of China(CUC) devoted itself to improve its internationalized school running skill. It has set up relationships with more than 200 world famous universities, all have yielded good achievements. CUC was willing to build up a good relationship with Oklahoma University, they could work together in exchange programs, summer school and jointed school running in the future. 

Dr. Paul Bell indicated that CUC was a famous university in journalism and communication industry. He hoped that through deep collaboration, the two universities can achieve great success in exchanging good education resources, providing students with more opportunities to experience different cultures and doing their bit for the construction of national relationship. 

Founded in 1890, the University of Oklahoma is a public research university located in Norman, Oklahoma just 20 mins’ south of Oklahoma City. OU’s Norman undergraduate population is just over 20,000, giving students a major university experience in a private college atmosphere. With three campuses in Oklahoma, OU also offers study abroad opportunities at several locations and OU campuses overseas.
