President Hu Zhengrong Meets with the President of University of Porto
On the morning of February 28th, 2017, President Hu Zhengrong accompanied by Vice President Yuan Jun held talks with Mr Sebastiao Jose Cabral Feyo de Azevedo, President of University of Porto. The two sides discussed possibilities to expand the cooperative relationship.
President Hu Zhengrong pointed out that since the signing of MOU, the cooperation between the two institutions had been carried out smoothly. The two parties can discuss to expand the student exchange programs to a wider range and explore the possibility to co-found a Confucius Institute.
Vice President Yuan Jun spoken highly of the cooperation so far and promised to coordinate internally and externally for the optimized resources to be allocated for further cooperation.
President Azevedo welcomed more CUC students to study at University of Porto, and was willing to provide more financial aids to the exchange students. After the meeting, they visited the Media Museum.
The University of Porto (Universidad do Porto), founded on March 22, 1911, is a Portuguese public university located in Porto. It is the largest Portuguese university by number of enrolled students and has one of the most noted research outputs in Portugal.
