On the morning of March 14, President Zhang Shuting met with a delegation led by Andrei Karol, President of Belarusian State University (BSU).  


President Zhang warmly welcomed President Karol and his delegation, introducing CUC's unique educational characteristics and international initiatives. He noted that CUC established its Russian language program in 2002 and has long been committed to promoting cooperation in higher education and cultural exchanges. President Zhang expressed his hope that today's meeting would mark a new starting point for expanding collaboration in fields such as information communication, economics, and information technology. Following the meeting, the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on inter-university cooperation.  


The BSU delegation included Vice President Alesia Prakharenka, Director of the International Office Lyudmila Khancher, and Associate Professor Wang Yaotian from the School of Economics. CUC representatives included Wen Chunying, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages and Cultures; Peng Jun, Director of International Student Affairs at the International School of Media and Communication (Overseas Student Affairs Center); Wang Wenyuan, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office; and Zhang Peipei, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office.
